Swaythling Councillor's help ReSurface estate's roads...

Cllrs Edward Osmond and Spiros Vassiliou are very pleased that Bluebell road will be resurfaced in November this year (2011). The significance of this road being completed is that the whole of the Flower Roads estate within the Swaythling Ward will now boost brand new surfaces.

This was one of Councillor Osmond's earliest pledges and he soon set about making this a reality after his election in 2008 by working hard in conjunction with residents of Flower Roads and also the Tenants Association for the area.

Cllr Osmond says: "I am very pleased about this. Since I was elected in 2008 together with the Flower Roads Residents and Tenants Association, I have lobbied hard that all the Flower roads should be resurfaced. With the completion of this work on Bluebell road all Flower roads within the Swaythling Ward have now been resurfaced."
