Steven Galton
CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATE FOR MILLBROOK
"My work with the No Southampton Biomass Group exposed me to the political world and having grown up and lived in Millbrook for over 30
years now I felt I wanted to play my part in creating a Millbrook we can all be proud of and I can happily bring my children up in"
Many of you may already recognise Steve for a number of reasons. Having grown up in Foundry Lane Steve attended Foundry Lane First and Middle School. He currently lives in the Regents Park area with his wife and 2 young children and is very active in the local community.
Steve is one of the leading figures in the residents group No Southampton Biomass, working tirelessly to ensure the totally inappropriate Southampton Biomass Power plans Helius have are rejected by the IPC as the application proceeds - catch up with the groups latest news here www.nosouthamptonbiomass.co.uk or click on the biomass image below to read more on why Steve says these plans can never be accepted by the people of Millbrook for a wide variety of reasons above and beyond the simple NIMBY argument.
Steve currently runs his own business offering Website Design, Search Engine Optimisation and Small Business Advice, specialising in start up's.

Andy Wells
CONSERVATIVE COUNCILLOR FOR MILLBROOK
"I have been proud to represent Millbrook for nearly 4 years now
but due to a change in personal circumstances I can not carry on
my good work past May 2012 but would implore you to vote for Steven Galton as he has already shown what a great job he will do in standing
up for the whole Millbrook Community"
Linda Norris
TEAM MILLBROOK MEMBER & EX MILLBROOK COUNCILLOR
"I am absolutely delighted to recommend Steve Galton as the
best possible candidate to represent the residents of Regents Park,
Shirley and Millbrook.
In my opinion, Steve is perfect for the Millbrook Ward, not only does
he live in the ward (unlike the Labour Councillors who claim to be residents,
but don’t actually live here) he was brought up, educated and has lived all his life here.
Indeed, even his parents still live in Foundry Lane in the very house Steve grew up in!
His children go to school locally and I met him when his wife, Charmaine e-mailed me
regarding the horror of the proposed Biomass plant – the rest, as they say, is history!’
Steve Galton has my total support as I truly believe that you will not find a more committed,
able, hard working and loyal person who is passionate about the ward and already doing
everything possible to resolve local issues. "
Linda was very disappointed at not being re-elected to serve as your Councillor and would like to thank the 1751 of you who were kind enough to cast their votes for her.
