Swaythling Councillor's Say No to Illegal Encampments at Monks Brook...

Cllrs Spiros Vassiliou and Edward Osmond have done their upmost to resolve residents concerns about illegal encampments on Monks Brook over the last few months and years.

There has been a long and historical issue with regards unauthorised encampments within the Monks Brook site that touches on the Swaythling Ward and has caused local concerns within the community.

We appreciate and share many of the concerns of Swaythling's residents and will strive to do all we can to help resolve the issue.

Both Conservative Councillor's have been in touch constantly with both Hampshire County Council and Southampton City Council to resolve this problem and have worked closely with Caroline Noakes MP, who has taken the issue to Parliament - please click the link below to see her comment as part of a Westminster Hall debate on Unauthorised Encampments.
